LF 55/2

SPECIALITY GREASES INTENDED FOR THE LUBRICATION OF ROLL MILLS BEARINGS AND GENERALLY
FOR HEAVY LOADED MECHANISMS OPERATED UNDER TEMPERATURES AND WATER ACTION.

NOTE

For a safe handing a MSDS of the product is a available. The data given herein are average values can be modified in
further product developments. Unless our technician aware and agree on the specific service conditions and application we cannot provide manufacturer liability or property guarantee.

LF 55/2 is a white, homogeneous, butter -like perfluorinated polyether grease. Particularly resistant to oxygen,
chemical agents and high temperatures. LF 55/2 can be used in contact with hot and cold water, vapor, fuel, acids,
300 C peak temperature in short period.
LF 55/2 is provided with exceptional stability to heat and chemical agents and shows high efficiency in

    • Electric motors bearings.

    • Roller bearing in furnace wagon wheels.

    • Thermically stabilized ball bearings in clip chains.

    • Creeper chain bearings in drying plants.

    • Re-enter bearings in creeper chains.

    • Tenter chains with bearings.

    • Vacuum unit.

    • Handing and pumping of alkaline products and acids.

    • Handing and pumping of petrol, fuel oils, oils.

    • Handing and pumping of solvents.

    • Generally wherever a long life lubricant is needed with limit
    • Temperatures and stringent environmental conditions.

As started herein LF 55/2 is insoluble in most of the solvents, this is why such solvents are not suitable foe the cleaning of mechanisms and tools used in contact with the product. To remove LF 55/2 from the parts without any problem, fluorinated solvents should be used.

CAUTIONS

In tests run on animals LF 55/2 shows very low ingesta and _ skin toxicity, so it is not dangerous for the operations. Should be given the circumstance of being heated over 300 C, the inhalation shall be avoided as the gas residues from its thermal degradation are toxic and irritative. This is why smoking must be avoided when handling the product.

APPLICATION

Must be applied onto perfectly clean parts, free of any typr of contamination or proctection such oil, grease, anti-rust protectors, dust, etc.
